To begin using iToolbox, simply complete the two steps below. When you complete these two steps, you will go directly to The iToolbox Management Center where you will find current iToolbox updates, directions on how to set up and change your iToolbox preferences and ongoing technical support.

1. Type in the following web address:

   http://ichannel.iowatelecom.net

2. You will be asked to login to the iToolbox Management Center.
   Type in your IowaTelecom.net e-mail address (yourname@iowatelecom.net) and your current IowaTelecom.net password. If you don't remember your password call Iowa Telecom Technical Support toll free at 1-888-214-3839.
   

1. The first page you will see is the IowaTelecom.net iToolbox News section. Here you will find the most recent iToolbox news and updates.

   
   

2. The Support/FAQ section will provide you with automated iToolbox technical support. Here you can configure Speed Pack to meet your own surfing needs. In addition, you will find links that will allow you to download iToolbox client and contact information in the event that you need additional technical support.

   
   

3. The Account Preferences section will allow you to set information pertaining to your location and give you access to change your password.

   
   

4. The iToolbox Preferences section will allow you to turn iToolbox on and off as well as adjust the performance settings of your iToolbox. Ad Blocking has on and off settings. Image scaling allows you to adjust the quality of the images that appear on web pages. Reducing the image quality percentage will further increase the speed of your Internet connection.

   
   

5. The Parental Control Preferences section will allow you to turn iToolbox's Parental Controls and Web History Preferences on or off as well as disable web browsing completely. For an explanation of filters click here.

   
   

6. The Web History section allows you to view a listing of web pages, by date and time, visited from your computer. When you click on the website listed in the detailed information list, you can see the web page that was viewed to evaluate the website content. 7. The Firewall Preferences section allows you to turn on the firewall which can aid in protecting your computer. You can choose to customize your own security settings or you can choose one of our included security templates.
